Congo: Travelling & Vacation

The Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic are home to a variety of unique fauna and flora. It can be difficult to get to, but well worth the effort for nature lovers. With lowland gorillas and wild chimpanzees (the country contains over 80% of their world population). Congo can be described as thick, dense rainforest an impenetrable jungle.

Wildlife aside, Congo is a large unknown area for most outsiders, due to little tourist infrastructure and a six year civil conflict, that has scared off all but the most intrepid travelers. However with a pathway to peace in progress and with past arguments temporarily or permanently put to one side, the possibilities of changes flickers tantalizingly on the horizon.
