The following facilities are available:
Lavatory, washing and showering with free use of warm water but don't go overboard on usage.

In the same building there is a place to empty your chemical toilets, a utility room with hot and cold water and cooking facilities, and a room with 2 washers and 2 dryers.

Information about the area
Preikestolen is accessible by a 4 km road. When you arrive at the parking lot (not free). There is also a bus service to the parking lot of the camp site. From the parking lot its about 2 hours walking to Preikestolen. The first half of the road is well laid out, the second half has more increases and is more difficult. Good footwear is recommended, especially in rainy weather. Preikestolen can also be reached on foot from the camp site. A walk of about 3.5 hours at a leisurely pace. Some physical condition is required.

As described above, a golf driving range. Golf clubs can be rented at the reception. For non-golfers a nice opportunity to get to know or discover golf.

For boaters and fishermen, there is a boat rental in Jørpeland, info at reception.

Other tours from the vicinity of the camp site
A boat trip on the Lysefjorden, from Forsand to Lysebotn (and return), taking one under sail along the Preikestolen. The length of the fjord is 40 km and the length of the (return) journey by ferry is about 6 hours. There is a good chance to see Seals at the end of the fjord which is 1000 m high. Kjeirag is on the south side and in summer parachuter's jump off from here. The ferry can also take your car, for this it is necessary to book, ask at reception for further information on departures etc.

There are many mountain walks, hiking maps available in the store.
A ride by Icelandic pony in Forsand to Uburen, duration approx 3 hours. Costs about NKr 400 per person.

If its nice weather then its worth a day out in Stavanger. Just above the harbour is a large car park (free). There you can leave your car and then by speedboat or ferry cross to Stavanger. you will arrive in the old city centre. On the return trip from Stavanger about halfway, just before you get to Jørpeland at Solbakk (50 meters towards the sea) you can have a look at the rock art work (Hell Rist Ning).

If one wants to look at a wider or more interesting area then there is Forsand, which includes a small outdoor museum "Landa" and on the other side of the Hogs Fjord, lies Mona Fossen, a beautiful waterfall, which is well worth a visit. Maps of the area are available at the reception.
