Mountain of Kragerø is a charming town house in Louis XVI style from 1803 that belonged to the family of Kragerø Homann in. It was donated to the museum to grow to a to the municipality of Kragerø by the last owner, Miss "Jenia" Homann, who died in 1943, and now belongs to the Foundation "Berg - of Kragerø Museum".

The main building has an interior and furniture from various eras, mostly from 18th century, but also from the antiquity and from "Jenia" Homann's own time. In addition to the house are several buildings around the market square Mountain Bay, all of which are related to the house and the coast of Kragerø and culture of the District.

There are excellent parking facilities at the museum, and for day-trippers is a nice getaway. The natural ports in the area can also be visited. The museum has a shop and a cafe.
