Norwegian museum of hydro power and industry

The impressive Tyssedal Power plant is the jewel in the crown of our museum, and a variety of guided tours are offered. An exciting history is told: from the beginning of last century till today, the history of waterfalls who changed Norway. Our multimedia show comes highly recommended. We also have exhibitions and a shop. In summer the place is a bustle of activities; local artisans make use of the workshops and smithy. you can get a cup of coffee in the museum café, there are activities for children, and art exhibitions.
