The camp of Veenhoop water sports and recreation lies in the middle of Friesland in the National Park "De Alde Feanen" and close to the national park "The Kraenlânnen" and "The Deelen".

There are three fields of different sizes available for tourists at the campsite, which are surrounded by beautiful tree walls.

The pitches are spacious and each have their own electrical connection. Besides the beautiful and comfortable sanitary campsite has its own marina. With a sailboat, canoe or electric boat you can experience the natural environment in a great way with no engine noise. Also, the area is very suitable for cycling, hiking or fishing. By bike, you can bike the ferry route. This route connects by means ferries paths with each other. One of the ferries from the route is near the campsite. Did you not bring your bike, canoe or boat than simply rent them from us. But maybe you prefer to sit on a waterfront terrace.

We do not have a canteen but the restaurant across the street is accessible by ferry.
