Information

Otter is the only campground on the Schild. It is more than 4 hectares and consists of 100 permanent sites and 50 tourist sites.

For campers there are paved places (6 pieces). Locate a toilet block containing a chemical dump and laundry on site.

The campsite offers different play set for the kids.

The Schild and near Otter is a wonderful place for recreation, water, forest and nature reserves.

Perfect for walkers and cyclists, and of course water sports. Ideal for sailing, surfing, fishing or just cruising a bit.

The Schild is an open channel which communicates with the Eemskanaal, Slochterdiep and drainage direction Tjuchem and Farmsum. Delfzijl you're so on the Ems towards the Wadden Sea and the German islands.
