Bosnia Herzegovina: Travelling & Vacation
Once a federal unit of the Republic of Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina gained its independence (April 5th, 1992) during the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990’s. The former Yugoslavian countries, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, border it. Its coastline is a mere 24 kilometers on the Adriatic Sea. The country is divided into two entities, the Muslim-Croatian district and the Republic Srpska, with an estimated population of 4 million. The capital is Sarajevo. The country is save to travel; it still has great parts of it in ruins due to the war.
