Latvia: Travelling & Vacation
Latvia Riga is by far the largest city, with about three-quarters million inhabitants. The second city has, however, only slightly more than a hundred thousand people to accommodate.
Riga has more and more tourists in demand coming each year, not because of the low prices, but because of the city despite the Soviet past, it has become a modern city, where Westerners used to live, and work.
The inhabitants of Latvia are usually generously open to foreign tourists, or perhaps even in the countryside.
Since Latvia in 1991 was redeemed by the Russian domination in politics, in the form of a democracy, everything is done to make traveling to the country stimulate. This is quite successful and almost everyone who travels to Latvia looks with a positive look back on the Baltic country.
