Malta: Travelling & Vacation
Since the early 90s, Malta is seen as a very suitable destination. The economy of the island group is in tourism, the mainstay. Malta as a holiday destination has been operating for years in service.
Malta exists outside the eponymous island of two inhabited islands, called Gozo and Comino. While the north of Malta is very touristy, the latter islands have their ancient identity preserved. Particularly in this perspective is the Gigantija temple on Gozo: the oldest building in the world, its even older than the pyramids in Egypt or Stonehenge in England.
The capital of Malta is Valletta, where for example a car can be rented. Note: they drive on the left. In 2008, the euro was introduced, so many tourists will by textiles and clothing, because it is very cheap in the country.
Be careful with the sun! A hat is not a luxury item on this trip because if you dont you may find yourself burnt up very soon. Sun cream is advised. The language is immensely difficult to learn, because it is the only Semitic language of Europe, but in the tourist areas, often speaks English.
