The Siljan Ring was formed over 360 million years ago by a major meteorite impact that shook the whole world. The outcome of this incredible event is an exciting, rich and unique landscape. In these surroundings, on the shores of the Siljan Lake, you’ll find the quaint town of Rättvik.

Within easy walking distance of the centre, comfortably nestled between the lush greenery and the meandering river Enån, lies Rättvik’s Park. Here we have a campsite, cabins and a youth hostel as well as the Entertainment Park (Folkpark) which hosts dancing, discos, an array of well-known artists, festivals and children’s theatre etc..
