Summer season: daily from 9:00 to 19:00. Winter season: daily from 9.00 am to 17.00 pm (sunset).
The summer season in Burgers 'Zoo runs from 1 April to 31 October and the winter season in Burgers' Zoo runs from November 1 to March 31.
Some departments close earlier in connection with work, security and tranquillity for the animals:
The Fazanterie closes at 17:00.
Mangrove close Burgers' at 17.00.
Burgers' Safari close from March to October at 17.30 pm and from November to February at 16.30.
Burgers' Zoo: Some mammals such as panthers, tigers, tapirs and dwarf hippos can be seen up to 18:30 April to October. From November to March, they see to 16.45. The elephants throughout the year at 16.45 inwards.
Chimpanzees and gorillas are until September can be seen from 9.00. APR on their island They go into this period at 17.30 to stay the night. From October to March, the chimpanzees and gorillas from 11.30 hours can be seen their island and they go at 16:30 to stay the night. All this is of course highly dependent on the weather.
When the chimpanzees and gorillas are not visible its usually due bad weather outside, you can view them in their indoor enclosures. The entrance is within the right of the walkway to the observation room of the chimpanzees: if you turn left immediately after entry you can view the animals in their winter quarters.
