Information
Angerenstein Park is located north of the Velperweg in Arnhem. In the park the House Angerenstein, where over the centuries much history has been written and has had influence on the origins and history of the city of Arnhem.
The park itself is due to the height interspersed with streams and waterfalls, arising from the so-called 'sprinkle'. Sprinkle his manmade ponds, from which spring water bubbling.
The spring water in Angerenstein is very bright and clean and this is celebrated by geese, ducks, coots and other birds.
The park is also taken into account the dog: there is a large dog loose-loop position in the rear. There are little to no water birds, as they do not sit together in the fairway.
For Angerenstein House is a beautiful landscaped garden with gazebos that date back to the 18th century. Here benches are placed and a small playground is constructed so that children can play while parents can sit quietly in the sun.
The flora in the park is impressive. Many large, high and old trees that provide shelter in the summer and protect in winter. Winter birds The hedges and shrubs that thrive through the many water budded in spring beautiful but show their true splendor in the summer.
Park Angerenstein is not a park where you can walk around for a whole day but well suited for a walk for an hour. If one wants to leave the urban life behind and find a bench to just sit and relax on then this is the place.
