Around Camping Toppershoedje is much to see and do. You can cycle through the beautiful dunes and polders. Towns like Goedereede Middelharnis and are worth a visit. Would you enjoy a pristine piece of nature, then you can protected nature area in Evil. A short distance away lies the Grevelingenmeer, the largest salt water lake in Europe. Here you will find excellent water sports such as sailing, surfing, canoeing and fishing. Along the shores are beaches with good facilities and pavilions. Through the Brouwers you enter Zealand, where beautiful old cities like Zierikzee, Veere, Middelburg and Goes a rich history witnesses. On the artificial island Neeltje Jans you can visit the interesting Delta Works Exhibition.

Camping Toppershoedje offers both campers and bungalow guests great quality and hospitality. At the centre with an area of 13 hectares everyone finds plenty of space and tranquillity. Characteristic of the area are the so-called 'schurvelingen ": ancient earthworks that are raised to protect the sea breeze the country. Today this schurvelingen protected natural monuments. The beautifully clad ramparts encircle our cozy camping fields. In the bungalow area remember the beautiful old fruit trees at the time Toppershoedje was an estate.

The dunes rich North Sea coast has beautiful beaches, which are exceptionally wide at low tide. In the high season you can still find plenty of space for quiet sunbathing session. There are creeks that are a little chilly due to water flow but the children can never get enough of it.
