Camping 'De Britse' in Vorden is a camping located at our three roofed T-farm from the second half of the 19th century in the beautiful scenic landscape from the 'Achterhoek' (the East of the country).

The farm is just over 3 km from the lively village Vorden, known for its eight castles route and its location on the 'Pieter path'.

The farm has 20 seasonal and 20 pitches for passers, all in the farm located 2 1/2 acre wooded grounds.
In addition, the farm has over two acres agricultural lands/pastures.
 
'De Britse' is at the recreation area "Het Grote Veld" with beautiful (Nordic) walking routes and cycling, skating and horseback riding opportunities.
In one of the parts of the farm, we are organizing space for developing all kinds of cultural and creative activities in the form of courses, workshops and small-scale cultural events. Our intention is to manage the camping in an environmentally responsible manner. We want to make use of renewable energy whenever possible. The site itself is car free, but there are some camper pitches.

The site has some livestock present. For our younger guests there is a sweet Shetland pony, which can be occasionally driven and there are chickens that once in a while have chicks.

Small scale, peace and respect for nature, animals and humans are our top priority. There is a central play area for children and a campfire site. The first tree house is already built. For the enthusiast, there is an opportunity to bring their own horse or pony and we provide a pasture. Your pet is welcome, leashed.

The sanitary facilities are basic but functional, with six (hot) showers, two washing cubicles and a baby laundry.

The pitches are varied in design. There are large shaded pitches on a bigger field, in the woods and a field for backpackers. All with lots of privacy. Most places have electricity. Furthermore, there are several water outlets.

The site is lit only at the central places by night. In this way everyone can enjoy the Milky Way, which is still to behold here in its full glory.

In short, a site where everyone can truly enjoy nature as it should be.
