Turkey lies in Asia. The country is a popular travel destination. Tourism in Turkey is becoming increasingly important, especially the resorts along the coast which are a popular choice, but Istanbul, force majeure the largest city in the country, is also an attraction. With 12.5 million inhabitants, this buzzing city is like no other, even just outside the city are huge amounts of archaeological sites and the ancient Turkish history and culture.
