Belgium: Travelling & Vacation
The Kingdom of Belgium is one of the founding and core members of the European Union. It is bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France and has a coastline along the North Sea. Approximately 10.4 million people populate it, which makes the country one of the densest populated countries in Europe, aside from the Netherlands and smaller countries such as Monaco. The capital is the bilingual Brussels, where mainly French is spoken and a smaller community speaks Dutch. Belgium is divided into three communities; the Flemish Community (Dutch-speaking), the French Community and the German-speaking Community.
