We are a family run seafood restaurant in the heart of Douglas, the Islands capital and dining out quarter. As a long established name in seafood dining, our philosophy is fresh, seasonal and delicious food. The restaurant offers guests seasonal a la carte menus and blackboard specials showcasing the islands finest ingredients and produce such as local lobsters, queenies, king scallops (Tanroagan is Manx for Scallops) and variety of fish. If seafood is not your thing, the menu also includes delicious meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. From the open plan kitchen, your food is prepared and cooked to order as you watch. As part of the Tanroagan dining experience you can sample a growing selection of local drinks including Manx gin, ales, mineral waters and juices, homemade breads, hand crafted sauces and desserts.
