Restaurant Aigner on Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt offers one of the most beautiful backgrounds for a pure eating experience - with a view of both the French and German Cathedrals.
Viennese? Berliner? Unquestionably Aigner! Viennese Cafe charm in Berlin.
In order to offer the Berliner public an authenic atmosphere, we worked in careful detail to bring the original Thonet Jugendstil furnishings of the legendary Cafe Aigner in Vienna, as a culinary historic piece of the Danube city, to the Spree.
In the summer we offer a comfortable open air feeling with a view of the Gendarmenmarkt from our spacious terrace. The reception room, with its billiard table, invites one to enjoy a drink. The bar is the communication meeting point and a place to enjoy, for example, a freshly tapped Bitburger or Berliner Pilsner, a before or after dinner drink, or simply for the night cap later on.
If desired, it is also available as séparée for business meals and smaller events.
