About Prosper Park
You walk across the grounds of the former Prosper III shaft, which was turned into a spacious park of over 12 hectares after mining ended. A reclining pit wheel stands as an industrial monument among the lawns and paths. From the gently rolling mounds you look out over the Prosper quarter and the surrounding neighbourhood.
