About Vietor Mill

Here you see the brick body of a windmill from 1821, the oldest surviving mill in Bottrop. A bombing raid in World War II destroyed its cap, leaving only the round stone tower. The mill was restored in the 1980s and now stands as a protected monument along Gladbecker Straße.
