About Cologne Opera
In the reopened Riphahn building on Offenbachplatz you experience operas and operettas performed by the city's resident ensemble. You hear major works from the classical repertoire, often accompanied by the Gürzenich Orchestra. The modernist complex from the 1950s is back in use since 2026 after a long renovation.
