About Weißer Bogen
In the Weißer Bogen nature reserve between Weiß, Sürth and Rodenkirchen the Rhine makes a wide bend with long sand and pebble beaches. You walk through riparian woodland and meadows and settle on the bank with a view of the water and the ships. Set away from the city bustle, what you mostly hear here are birds and lapping water.
