About Ballhof
This cosy square in the Altstadt is dominated by the Ballhof, a half-timbered hall from 1649 originally built for ball games. Around the cobbles stand half-timbered houses with cafés and a theatre hall. It is one of the best-preserved corners of old Hannover.
