The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a small country landlocked by Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France. Mainly because of its location it is a trilingual country; German, French and Dutch are spoken. The population is just over half a million inhabitants in an area of about 2.600 square kilometers. The landscape is mainly hilly, with a low mountain range called the Ardennes to the north.
