Nepal: Travelling & Vacation

Nepal has four distinct seasons.

Autumn starts in late September and ends in November. The Nepalese autumn is cool, with clear skies, and is the most popular season for tourists to take long walks. In the winter, from December to February, its cold at night and can be foggy in the early morning. Yet the afternoon mostly clear and pleasant, though it can snow quite often, especially in the mountains. The weather is warmer and the winter is much milder in the lower areas, including the capital Kathmandu, which lies at 1400m. It rarely snows in the 2000m.
