About Alhambra
The Nasrid rulers raised a palace city of towers, courtyards and gardens on this hill, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Generalife. Your route takes in the Alcazaba fortress with its Torre de la Vela and the Nasrid Palaces, including the Patio de los Leones. Book well ahead, as entry to the palaces is by timed ticket.
