Country Camping Buorkerij
1888Kamperen farmhouse in the countryside of Friesland, right on the Elfstedenroute, the Frisian Lakes Route and Route Hanseatic cities. The small campsite is situated in an authentic Frisian bell shape, near the picturesque village Dedgum.
The Buorkerij simply means-the-Farm.
On the farm no more cows are milked and therefore the stable area transformed into a cosy rest area and recreation room. You can read a newspaper, play a game or drink a nice cup of coffee or tea.
The barn is also a reception area. You can go here for tourist information of souvenirs, postcards, farm-fresh eggs, organic products, ice cream or just for a chat.
Recreation Area Around the farm there are many cuddly animals such as sheep, goats, rabbits, a pony, a cat, chickens and a dog. Children can ride on our Shetland pony "Nynke. There is also a children's playground with swings, a sandpit and a trampoline.
The campsite is an excellent base for your bike rides, museum visits and visiting the Frisian Eleven Cities towns. The grounds are landscaped playful amidst meadows and vistas. There are water taps, and all places are equipped with electricity connection.
The Buorkerij features all-new, stylish sanitary facilities;
A (off) laundry, washing machine, spin dryer and dryer, toilets, children's toilets, showers, a family shower and washing cubicles. The cleaning (hygiene) Sanitary is our top priority.
