Camping Ad Nooren Garnwerd offers spacious camping facilities. On the dike along the Reitdiep is available place to camp with a tent, caravan or camper van. This place was chosen because of its magnificent views over the Reitdiep and the hills beyond areas and is sheltered from the west wind.
A nicer place to enjoy the sunrise in Garnwerd not be found.
The site is completely renovated in early 2005. Thus, the access paths are widened and the new paths laid out camp site. The site is also twice as large as before. At the foot of the site is a dock for canoes and swimming landscaped with sandy beach. There is on the pitch for about 30 tents, caravans and camper vans.
The site is somewhat removed from the port which means that the camper no disturbance of the port activities. Services such as electricity and water are available. shower and toilet facilities available.
