About Berliner Ensemble
In the neo-baroque Theater am Schiffbauerdamm, founded by Brecht and Helene Weigel, you see both Brecht classics and contemporary repertoire. You sit in a hall of red drapery and a gilded ceiling, with two smaller stages alongside. A statue of Brecht sits on the square out front.
