About Bürgerablage
On the Oberhavel in the north of Spandau stretches a sandy beach about 600 metres wide, framed by tall pines. You swim in the river and then dry off on the sand, with a DLRG rescue station by the water. This former timber landing lies in the middle of the forest and has been a public bathing and recreation spot since 1970.
