About Flughafensee
On the northern side of this deep, man-made lake near Tegel you'll find several small sandy beaches where you can wade into the clear water. At over thirty metres it is the deepest lake in Berlin, which makes it popular with divers. Clothed and nude bathers mingle here, while a bird sanctuary sits on the south-western shore.
