About Plänterwald
You walk through an old deciduous forest along the Spree, the only true forest in the city's inner east. A riverside path leads you under tall oaks and ashes along the water, with views of passing boats. At its edge the forest borders the grounds of the former Spreepark amusement park, which is slowly being redeveloped.
