About Birkensee
This lake lies about 200 metres north of the Lußsee and is officially designated as a nudist (FKK) area, so you swim and sunbathe here in the nude. Along the roughly 900-metre shoreline visitors spread out among the trees and bushes by the water. The lake was created by gravel extraction for the railway and belongs to the Langwieder lake district.
