About Alcaicería
In Moorish times this walled silk market stood beside the main mosque and was locked at night. Most of what stands today was rebuilt after a 19th-century fire. Its narrow alleys between the cathedral and Plaza Bib-Rambla are now lined with stalls selling ceramics, leather and flamenco dresses.
